The Idea

The idea behind this blog is simple. I want it to be a place for women, specifically freshmen women to grow and to learn and to share in community. God has taught me some amazing things in these past few years and I think it is our duty as Christians to share our testimony. To share what God is teaching us, to share the ways that we are being challenged, to share the joys and the struggles. 

I don’t want it to be a place for just me to talk, I want you guys to talk and share with each other. I want to share reflections, interviews, funny stories and all things college life. 

I am passionate about the journey that takes place during freshmen year. There is so much change and it can be such a challenge. However, if we, as women of Christ join together and live in community we can really, truly, and fully take the journey together. The change and growth and challenge that took place in my own life my freshmen year was unreal. I have been so blessed by the people who poured into my life and the ways that I have grown and learned from others in the process of being a follower of Christ, a daughter, a friend, a student, a sister, and all the other titles.

So I ask you, join me. Join in on this process, on this adventure. Invest. Invest in this community. Invest in this time. Invest in the growth that is taking place. Take time. Take time to reflect, to process, to read. Enjoy. Enjoy this time, and this journey. Enjoy the things that God is teaching you. Enjoy community and the chance that we have to love each other well.
